לכל המבקרים ובתגובה לכל דברי הרוע והקנאה שנשפכים כאן, מה הקשר איך הגיע רועי למקום עבודתו ולפעילותו המדהימה במשך השנים מאז הופיע בנמל. במיוחד בימים האלו, כאשר כל מילת אהדה לישראל לא תסולא בפז, רועי אברהמי, נמל אשדוד ומדינת ישראל זוכים לערמות של מחמאות ותשבחות בכות פעילותו של רועי. הלב מתרחב כשרואים איך מעריכים את האיש ומי שמכיר את תעשיית הנמלים ופורום TOC יודע שלא מדובר אנשים שאפשר לספר להם סיפורים. רועי מגיע בראש משלחת עם רעיונות בעלי ערך מוסף גבוה הן בהצגת פניה היפים של ישראל והן בפוטנציאל כלכלי רציני. אבל כהרגל רבים מאיתנו, כל הצלחה גוררת ביקורת, לעג, וכל מילה אפשרית לקלקל ולהרוס. רועי הוא נכס למדינה בכלל ולנמל אשדוד בפרט, אני משוכנע שעוד רבים כמוני מאחלים לו הצלחה ויותר ממעריכים אותו ואם הוא מקורב לגורם זה או אחר, הרי רק ניתן לשבח את הגורם שהביא אותו ואת הקשר הזה שהביא את רועי לאן שהגיע. בהצלחה רועי, הצלחתך הצלחתנו ואנא, התייחס למלעיזים בדיוק כפי שאתה מתייחס למשהו שנדבק לסוליה שלך ברחוב, נגב והמשך. יישר כוחך.

אני יודע כמה שטויות רועי מוכר וכמה תשואה בפועל הוא מביא לנמל, אפס. בתכל'ס, אם הנמל היה מופרט והיו נכנסים בעלים פרטיים החגיגה שלו ושל עוד כמה חטיבות בנמל הייתה מסתיימת/ מישהו יכול להסביר למה צריך חטיבת תקשורת תאגידית עם מרכז מבקרים שעלותם לנמל מאות מיליונים בשנה? שמישהו יסביר למה פתחו מחלקת חדשנות כשניתן היה להסתפק במדור צנוע ולשים אותו בכפיפות לחטיבת המינהל על מנת לחסוך בעלויות, או אפילו להטיל את המשימה על רמ"ד/רמ"ח קיים. מי צריך את חטיבת השיווק והמכירות בנמל, שלושה רמח"ים, רמד"ים, פקידות ועוד, תראו את נמל הדרום ואת המינהל שם, מינהל רזה, יעיל, איכותי וכזה שמרכז פעילויות תוך שימוש בקבלנים חיצוניים לשיווק ומכירות. חדשנות? אצלם החדשנות מתבטאת בכך שהם עובדים יעיל, עם ציוד מודרני ועם ראייה עתידית שמתחילה מהראש ולא מסתמכת על אדם חסר כישורים.

מה שקורה שהנמל לא השקיע, הוא זרק 16 מיליון שקלים!! לפח. היחיד שמרוויח משהו מה"חדשנות" הוא רועי אברהם, טיולים על חשבון הנמל לכול קצווי העולם, לשכה מפוארת, משכורת עתק, הכול תוך הבאה של 0 שקלים לקופת הנמל. כול ה"חדשנות" שלו מתבטא בכותרות מפוצצות אך בפועל הנמל לא הכניס שקל מכול הפרויקטים שלו, ורובם זרוקים בנמל או במגירה כאבן שאין לה הופכין. היום סינגפור, לפני שבוע אירופה, לפני כמה חודשים יפן לשבועיים (ביחד עם פלורי פייגל האחראית על הטקסים בנמל, כן, יש תפקיד מיותר כזה בנמל) שגם צירפה את בן זוגה דאז וכמובן מנהל הנמל. חבל שאף אחד בדירקטוריון לא מתעורר ומפסיק את החגיגה הזו.

Chanoch Winnykamin, former editor of the newsletter and director of the Israeli Shippers' Council. He edited the Transport publication of the Israeli Export Institute, organizer and lecturer at International Conferences on Transportation, Producer of the Hebrew version of the Incoterms Guide of the International Chamber of Commerce ICC for International Trade Terms, and former member and coordinator of the Transport Committee of the National Committee of Israel International Chamber of Commerce, former CEO of the Haifa and the North Chamber of Commerce and Industry, former member of the board of the European Shippers' council and member of various committees of the International Chamber of Commerce in the fields of logistics.
Pninit Berman, managed the Israeli Shippers' Council, former Vice President of the Haifa and the North Chamber of Commerce and Industry, an economist with a master's degree in business administration from Tel Aviv University. She has nine years of experience in the users' association and has extensive knowledge of the maritime transport industry.
Odeia Schwetz, Is a Haifa journalist who covers ports, customs, environment, and land transport.
